By downloading, installing, or using Carva, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Carva is operated by Shiftware.
Carva is a mobile application that uses AI to identify cars from photos taken by users. Users earn points and badges based on the rarity of cars they spot. The app includes free and paid subscription tiers.
You may create an account using email, Apple ID, or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Carva. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
You agree not to use Carva to upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content. You must not attempt to manipulate the leaderboard or scoring system through automated means. You must not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app. You must take photos safely and legally, respecting traffic laws and private property.
Carva offers optional paid subscriptions (Pro and Pro+) processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal policies are governed by the respective app store. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your app store settings.
You retain ownership of photos you take. By uploading photos to Carva, you grant us a license to store, display, and process them for the purpose of providing the service. We may display anonymized spot data (car model, location) on the global map and leaderboards.
Car identification is provided by AI and may not always be accurate. Carva does not guarantee the correctness of car identification results. XP and rarity scores are for entertainment purposes only and do not represent actual vehicle valuations.
Carva is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app. We are not responsible for injuries or accidents that occur while using the app. Always prioritize safety when spotting cars.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings, which will permanently remove all your data.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
